Emma Wilmot
Emma Wilmot (1998, Eltham, United Kingdom) works with photography, she enjoys looking at and creating abstract photos, one photographer who she has looked at previously who creates abstract photos is Jeromir Funke. Wilmot likes to take photos to document how she see's the world, she likes to look into the beauty or the world, she enjoys taking photos of natural form such as nature and flowers as they do demonstrate the beauty.
Wilmot feels like photography is a way of documenting reality, it captures moments that you may never see again, Even though she likes photographing the natural world, there is still nothing stopping her from going into the city taking photos. She likes anything where she can capture precious moments at the best times. Not only does Wilmot enjoy abstract photography but she also likes close up image or out of focus images, or even any images where you can not exactly tell what they are of, this seems to create mystery, she likes the idea of peoples imaginations running wild, thinking of all the different possibilities of what the photo could be, it allows them to decide what the photo is rather than making the photos too obvious. Another aspect of photography that Wilmot enjoys is black and white due to it creating an old look, it once again gives it a mysterious feel because it doesn't show its true colours, you could even look into it further by saying that it tends to hide the truth.
A form of photography that Wilmot feels is more creative is collages, you could create them of anything, you could use a collage to tell a story or to display different groups of photos, with this layout and presentation technique it allows your imagination to run away with itself.
